The Story Behind Jae Taylor Designs
My connection to design goes way back. I grew up immersed in the world of high-end furniture makers and design professionals — the kind of people who believed in craftsmanship, not shortcuts. That early exposure shaped how I work today: with intention, integrity, and a deep respect for quality. In 2008, I officially launched Jae Taylor Designs, but the truth is that my design education began long before that.
I don’t believe in cookie-cutter solutions. Every project is different because every client is different. Your home should tell your story, and I’m just here to help you write it through form, function, and feeling.

My approach is highly personal and intuitive. Clients often say I seem to ‘read their minds” — but really, I just listen deeply. Helping people articulate the ideas they can’t always put into words and bring them to life visually, practically, and beautifully is my goal.
My mind also works in reverse. Whereas, I visualize the finished space first, then trace my steps backward to build the right foundation. It’s a process that allows me to stay laser-focused on the outcome while ensuring no detail is lost along the way. Sometimes clarity even comes to me in dreams. Yes, really.
